They only stay quiet for so long and pretty soon they'll be in here trying to berate and scare you. I've never agreed with how Savini Jason was handled.Īnyways, prepare for the gremlins. I have the counselor clothing pack because that's purely cosmetic.

People didn't have to back the game, they just had to shell out the $6 before April. The only thing keeping Savini Jason from being better than every other Jason is his weapon strength being bugged. Locking gameplay content behind a pre-release paywall is and will always be crap.

I would be happy to pay for it.įor what it's worth I agree with you, and so would any reasonable person who plays video games. People who didn't know about the kickstarter campaign should be given the opportunity one last time to get the DLC. It was briefly available on PS4 and now it's for free on XBOX. They gave hundreds of Savini skins away for free on launch day. Illfonic droned on about not giving it out any more and then it has been available 3 times since then.

I don't own the game on XBOX but grabbed the free DLC in case I ever buy it for XBOX. Some people here legitimately flip their lid over others getting that Jason. The Jason DLC showing up in-store was said to be an accident both times, but many players wondered why there would even be a listing for the content in the stores at all if it was supposed to be a backer-exclusive item, especially after the game's team firmly stated that it'd never be sold again.Ursprünglich geschrieben von Baby Ghoul:Edit your post so that in contains a trigger warning you insensitive monster. Several backers had issues receiving their bonus content, and the content also had a similarly brief sale on the PlayStation 4 version through the PlayStation store where players who bought it were permitted to keep it before the listing was removed. Since the game came out back in May, Savini Jason has been a point of contention for players due to the way that it was released and the individualized attributes that it came with. Calling it a skin would imply that it has purely cosmetic changes, and while it definitely changes the way that Jason looks, it also gives him his own set of strengths and weakness like the other Jason versions do.

The Savini Jason is a skin that was supposed to be exclusive to those who backed the game during the very early phases of development, but it's really much more than a skin.
